Mixay produce and distribute high quality silk, woven by hand on traditional looms according to age old techniques handed down through generations. Continuing that tradition, today's master weavers have an ability to marry time-honoured methods and motifs with the aspirations of modern design. We feel a duty to preserve such unique heritage, our aim is to sustain and promote Lao artistic tradition

so that everyone can enjoy it. Supporting weaving in this way helps stimulate the fragile economy in disadvantaged areas
We stock and ship traditional and modern styles of handicrafts, home decoration, furnishings and fashion. Our boutique provides a great variety of products made from the finest materials. The diversity, complexity and richness of Lao textiles reflects a long tradition and ancient culture in South East Asia. The Mixay brand is becoming known as a guarantee of superb quality and authenticity
