Say goodbye to sugar and hello to water
Sugar is delicious and we love it. Yes, it's a fantastic preservative, the truth is you don't need sugar; in fact, your daily diet should never include any form of crystallized sugar. All of us have become so used to grabbing an ice cold drink on hot days, or jugging that "energy and vitamin boosted" drink and don't forget those fast foods we love to swallow down. The reality is that sugar is loaded on them.
Sugar is a genuinely bad source of energy. This will give you a rapid boost in strength, and then go down. This leaves you starving. And our bodies need longer-lasting, nutritionally balanced energy sources. Did you know the nutritional value of sugar is nil? Sugar has little benefit at all and constitutes 20 per cent of the total daily calorie intake in today's world. Almost any food item that comes in or is stored in a container, bottle, shelf has sugar in it.
We don't see it so we don't count it. You don't have to deprive yourself of enjoying an occasional sweet treat. The alternatives are healthy. These would really be the first options and not seen as substitutes, i.e. honey, fresh fruit or berries.
It'll take time and energy on your part to rid your diet of sugar. WATER is a good replacement as you travel through the weaning off period. You 're not only going to hydrate yourself, it relieves the craving.
