Harsh*taa Chatterjee Deshpande travels across India, exploring forgotten towns and growing cities. But unlike most tourists, she is not on the lookout for temples or monuments, but for old traditional weavers and textile craftsmen. Her passion for keeping alive India's rich textile heritage led to the birth of her brand, Harsh*taa Chatterjee Deshpande. The Heirloom collection is an exotic revival

of classic Indian weaves, reborn as pieces that the woman today can cherish. We present ourselves to the world in a new form today, while keeping true to our traditional roots. The soul is traditional, yet the outlook is modern and today. The label’s inspiration is the timeless treasures and textures of classic Indian design that have beautiful stories embedded in the design ideology. The label has been working with weavers from various parts of the country, attempting to adapt classic weaves into a contemporary silhouettes and styles, making it wearable and accessible to our generation.
