Hình ảnh những cánh đồng lá dứa âm ỉ cháy, khói bụi phủ mờ cả một vùng trời... từng là nỗi ám ảnh sau mỗi mùa thu hoạch tại Tân Phước, Tiền Giang - "thủ phủ" dứa của miền Tây. Hàng ngàn tấn lá dứa bị coi như phế phẩm, đốt bỏ không thương tiếc, sản sinh

Nhưng điều gì sẽ xảy ra nếu chúng ta nhìn những chiếc lá ấy bằng một góc nhìn khác!

Khởi nguồn từ trăn trở về thực trạng đáng buồn đó, Pinalab đã cùng Khoa Công nghệ Dệt May - Đại học Bách Khoa TP.HCM, bắt tay vào một hành trình đầy ý nghĩa, giải cứu lá dứa biến chúng thành những sợi vải chất lượng cho ngành thời trang bền vững.

Bà con nông dân không chỉ nhẹ gánh lo xử lý mà còn có thêm một nguồn thu nhập. Và điều tuyệt vời hơn, cứ mỗi tấn xơ dứa được tạo ra, chúng ta đã ngăn chặn việc phát thải tới 17.025 tấn CO2 vào khí quyển! 🌿

Once, skies over Tan Phuoc, Tien Giang – the Mekong Delta's pineapple heartland – choked with smoke from thousands of tons of burned pineapple leaves, releasing CO2 and pollutants.
But Pinalab, with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach Khoa University), saw an opportunity in this 'waste.' They pioneered a method to transform these discarded leaves into quality fabric for sustainable fashion.

Nằm giữa lòng đồng bằng sông Cửu Long trù phú, những cánh đồng dứa bạt ngàn của các tỉnh phía Nam, đặc biệt là Tiền Giang - vựa dứa lớn nhất khu vực sông Tiền, đang bước vào mùa thu hoạch cuối vụ. Tuy nhiên, mùa vụ mấy năm nay mang một ý nghĩa đặc biệt, khi những chiếc lá dứa tưởng chừng như phế phẩm nay đã trở thành nguồn nguyên liệu quý giá cho ngành công nghiệp dệt may bền vững.
