Stop confusing fabric weight with fabric quality. A 400 GSM hoodie is just heavy; it isn't automatically good.

Right now, the industry is obsessed with weight. Every brand is marketing "ultra-heavyweight cotton" as the ultimate definition of premium streetwear and luxury. Buyers are looking at GSM (Grams per Square Meter) as if it is the only metric that matters.

Here is the reality check: Weight cannot hide poor engineering.
- A 400 GSM fleece made from low-grade, short-staple yarn will still pill after three washes.
- A heavy t-shirt knit with the wrong tension will still twist at the side seams.
- A dense fabric sewn with standard thread will simply break the seams faster because the fabric has zero give.

Selling raw weight is a marketing trend. Selling actual durability requires technical ex*****on.

Stop buying GSM. Start buying yarn quality, knitting gauge, and proper finishing. Let the amateurs compete on who can make the heaviest shirt; you should compete on who can make the best one.
