I am really blessed to be in France for the first time and to truly feel the Christmas atmosphere here. And the best gift I could get is to see beautiful ladies wearing my clothes with a big smile on their face.

Just wanted to share my appreciation to my dear friends and customers who came to Soma to support small businesses last Saturday. This was the first time I dared to show my creations in this kind of events and there were a lot of lessons learnt. Starting a new brand is not a piece of cake, it comes with a lot of challenges and doubts but it's definitely worth it. Will keep getting stronger 💪💃

My designs are always strongly inspired by flowers. Lotus, Vietnam's national flower since 2011, has a strong symbolic for the country and its people. It represents beauty, serenity, purety but also the strong will and resilience of Vietnamese as expressed through this beautiful old chant:
"No other species in the lake can rival lotuses
Green leaves, white blossoms and yellow pistils
Yellow pistils, white blossoms and green leaves
Never tarnished by the dirty mud nearby."
This dress is my personal interpretation of lotus, with the sleeves flowing around the dress, like the leaves beautifully flowing around the lotus seedpod.
