Time to share what I’ve been up to lately! 🧶 I’m planning on making this a weekly thing because it’s fun to share more about the process (I think)

Mostly just sewing bags with animals and also knitting things with animals on it 😅 Yes- I’m going through a phase!

I hope to be able to share more about my knitting wips soon. See you next week 💖

Currently deep into sewing bags for my first ever yarn festival so I don’t have much to share right now.. So here are some ‘oldies but goodies’ cardigan edition! 🧶

I’m terrible at marketing my older patterns and I always look forward to the next thing, completely forgetting all the things I’ve already put out 😅

In order:
1&2/ vivienne vintage cardigan
3/ bambi bow cardigan
4/ clara collar cardigan
5/ inge isle cardigan
6/ primrose puff cardigan
7/ mabel meadow cardigan
8/ tallulah texture cardigan

And good news if you love cardigans like me— I currently have 1 new design on the needles besides the 3 that I’m about to cast on 👀 I didn’t realize that this summer my knitting mojo was a bit lower, I’m feeling extremely inspired! 🍂🍁

Thank you all for your continued support!

My most used knitting tools— the ones I would bring to a deserted island 🏝️

I just hope the weather isn’t too hot to knit over there 🤣

Hope you enjoy this new kind of post, just trying something different! I photographed my own buttons & fabrics to use for the backgrounds which was really fun 🙂‍↕️

I’m trying to share more personal bits as well as my knitting process of designs/work life, so here is a photo dump from the past week! My only active WIP currently, is this ‘goose cardigan’ with some fun shaping techniques. I experimented a bit and thankfully it all worked out! 🙂‍↕️♥️

I’m vending at the nederlandse brei- en haakdagen in October so I’m stress sewing bags since I’m way behind schedule, naturally 😮‍💨

The prettiest bouquet of supermarket flowers 😍 I can’t stop looking at them!

More Ohio star blocks for bags! I received a few question about a pattern for this. I wing it for the bags I sell- but I do have a pattern for this called ‘The Quilted Star Bag’ with lots more options 👀

Another watercolor sketch that I started today. If it’s good enough, I’ll use it for some shop items that I’m working on. I love making animals and flowers 🌸 (so original)

And a beautiful flower to end this dump. I hope you’re all doing well and life has been kind to you 🫶🏻 I’ll hopefully be back to Youtube later this month when things settle a bit 🌞

Another ‘behind every knitwear designer’ post— here are some of the many beautiful versions that my testers made for the Posie Pointelle Top! 🌸✨

I never knew you could only add 20 photos in one of these post, so I’m sorry if I didn’t include you 🫶🏻 I already have to trick people into seeing these posts by starting with a picture of myself 🤣

It’s however really important to me to share my appreciation for my test knitters and also showcase a design on a range of people and different colors & yarn! 💖

So thank you once again for falling for my trick and hopefully you enjoyed seeing all these versions- I know I definitely do! Test knitters play a huge part in releasing patterns and seeing all their versions is my favorite part 🙂‍↕️

The Posie Pointelle Top is still 20% for the rest of this upcoming weekend.
No code needed, discount is applied at checkout.

All the love to everyone that interacted with my release post and/or purchased the pattern. I was blown away by your response for this pattern, it felt like I finally got it ‘right’ 🥹♥️

If you saw my post from yesterday, no you didn’t 🤣 I was a bit unhappy with how I edited those photos so I just deleted them.

But here is everything I made in August!
Usually this would be in reel format, but let’s see how people like this 🌞

August stats:
🌸 plant a garden blanket
🌸 3 project bags
🌸 long sleeve posie pointelle top sample
🌸 squares for 2 pillow samples of the plant a garden blanket
🌸 trying out watercolor
🌸 dresden plate skirt

Very productive, but not productive enough because I’m way behind on yarn festival prep 🤡😬

What did you get up to this August?

The last week of August 🌞🌸♥️

Most of this month was spent making my blanket design. But after that was finally done, I got up to some fun things!

Firstly, I released the Posie Pointelle Top so I had to finish knitting my long sleeve sample.
I worked really hard on getting all things done so I treated myself to some sewing hours and I made this dresden plate version of the Saundra skirt 🥰

The fabric is a viscose & linnen blend which has really nice drape. I still have fabric for 20 (!) projects, so I might make that it a new weekly goal to get one done each week 😅

I’ve also had a new hyperfocus on watercolor painting which I’m really enjoying 🙂‍↕️ It’s been really nice to have a hobby where I can create something that’s not destined for my wardrobe basically. But I’ve only done it twice so far so let’s see!

I also organized my yarn stash this month which got me super excited to knit with all the fall colors.. 🍁🫶🏻

And here is a better look at my newest pattern, the Posie Pointelle Top 🌸💖

I knew this pattern would be a good one, because I love it so much 🤭 It seems my best selling patterns, are the ones most dear to me.

So here are 3 out of the 4 views this pattern includes! Button front, closed front and 2 sleeve length options :)

🌹 The pattern comes in 10 sizes as usual for a finished chest circumference of 93.5-180 cm (36.75-70.75 inch) which includes the suggested positive ease of 15-25 cm (6-9.75 inch)

I’ll be styling all 3 versions in tomorrow’s ‘styling knits on sundays’! Hopefully with some fall themed outfits, but perhaps also a summery one for southern hemisphere people 🌞

The pattern is currently 20% off for the release and available on my Ravelry, Etsy & Shopify. No code needed, discount applied at checkout 😊 Valid until Sunday, September 6th.

A huge thank you to everyone that has already purchased the pattern in just this past day— it truly means the world to me!

Watch my 3rd and final sample of the Posie Pointelle Top grow, just fast enough for the release tomorrow 💖

I’ve lengthened this sample by a bit and combined with the long sleeves, it makes for a perfect transitional sweater for the Dutch weather :)

I’m super excited to share this pattern with you 💌 Available tomorrow at 16:00 cet
