My father loves history, and he loves weird things, and he works EXTREMELY fast. A few weeks ago I knew I needed to slow him down and the best way to do that was to find something that he could really sink his teeth into. 3 thrift stores later, I found myself standing in front of this mess. Trim was missing, the drawers didn’t slide, and the top was on the floor next to it; but it was old and weird enough that I handed over my $50 and brought it home.

(This isn’t the only thing I brought home that day! I will introduce those later.)
