Our Message
Shhh... Is an acronym for Stay Humble Hustle Hard. Something we believe in very strongly. We believe "Modesty isn't how you hide success, It's how you handle it."
Be kind, Be positive, Be empathetic, Be loyal, Be happy, Be generous, Be humble, Be the change the world needs.
They say humility is the foundation of many virtues, but at the same time, it is an elusive trait. Many of us aspire to it, yet once we know how humble we are and start talking about it, we prove the exact opposite. Humility means more than just the absence of pride. Humble people are more approachable — they actively listen, are willing to help, often put others first and they are always polite. A humble person will never be afraid to talk about someone else’s success because they know there is plenty of opportunity to go around. Humble people are also receptive to constructive criticism — they know there’s always room for improvement. When you are modest and smart enough to acknowledge what you do and do not know, you will never shy away from asking others to help you. However, some people associate humility with being insecure or submissive, but this couldn’t be any further from the truth. Humble people are confident and competent, but they don’t feel the need to brag about it. They let their actions speak for them.
Some back story...
I suffer from depression and I swear the absolute only thing that makes me happy and brings me outta my depressed ways is making others happy.
I just wanna win and be in a position that I can make other people happy and maybe change some lives.
I am trying to go hard with the Shhh... Stay Humble Hustle Hard Apparel LLC Live, Love, Create cause I really believe in helping others.
I really believe in the message behind my brand. Many of us were brought up having to hustle whether that was a legit hustle or not we have ALL hustled. You're probably hustling right now reading this. But it may be behind a desk or with your head buried in a book.
Over the years I think the word Hustle has been often misinterpreted and often regarded as negative. It's not and I'd like to change that.
I also believe in humility and believe it is extremely important. So I have always gravitated towards the "Stay Humble Hustle Hard" which I had seen on memes and motivational type posts in the past but when I made the connection and came up with the acronym, "Shhh..." I really felt I had something.
I've been trying to push this brand for years now, when I felt the RUN613 was very limited to the geographical area I knew I needed something for the masses. And so I ran with it. No pun intended.
It hasnt been easy to say the least. being broke, sick 90% of the time, dying twice, having crippling anxieties and manic depression doesn't help the situation but I push on cause I really struggle with trying to find a purpose. And really feel if I died twice there has to be something bigger, there's gotta be something I am really here for and I'm still really struggling trying to figure it out.
All I know for certain is that everything that hurts, bothers me, stresses me out and etc goes away as soon as I make someone happy. Imagine being in a position to walk down the street and offer a homeless person a coat, but when he puts it on and his hands in the pockets he finds enough money for some shelter, clothing or food? With a kind little note attached to remind him he is still loved and appreciated?? MAN!!! I'm telling you!! That's really all I want. THAT IS THE GOAL!! I need to make this Brand s**t work.
