Guys Kigali loves so much, just look how I’m glowing 🤣🤪 I made these pants a year ago but never got round to adding a button and buttonhole so they’ve literally been a UFO for a year. Did some brunch vibes today 🌸

Last week Tuesday’s outfit, I loved it so much that I think it deserves a space on my grid. I made this dress in 2019 as my birthday dress but never had many opportunities to wear it. I think I wore it to church one time 🫣 so I’m happy I’m able to style it so I can wear it to the office too 🥰

Why don’t I have more cute tops, so quick and easy to sew too 😍 for the I did size down by 1 size since it has a lot of ease, but I wanted a more fitted top. I love this rustic colour too 🤗🤩

I really enjoyed making this dress and socialising while making it. I made view B, by using the wrong side of my fabric to create the contrasting band. This pattern works so well with a multitude of fabrics and prints, made view A and this popping red. I love it ♥️ The pattern is fairly easy and straightforward to sew, the turnup on the sleeves was so easy to do, plus there’s a YouTube tutorial to follow along making fun and easy to sew.

Hello IG Fam 🙋🏾‍♀️
It’s finally here, Ankara Appreciation Week 💃🏽🕺🏽💃🏽🕺🏽 my favourite challenge and today is all about the mini, midi and maxi dresses and skirts. I thought today I could share my top 5 reasons why I love Ankara fabric so much:
1. The bright colours, especially now in winter 🥶 guys I don’t function well in winter and I need lots of motivation and something as small as putting on the brightest dress can really lift my mood.
2. It’s really easy to cut and sew, it’s the perfect beginner fabric.
3. You can use the straight and the cross grain depending how you like the pattern, this dress was cut on the cross grain.
4. The fabric works both for casual and formal wear. You can definitely pull some show stoppers.
5. If Ankara was a person, it would be me, I love being a flower 🌸
✨ Thank you and for hosting this for the 3rd year ♥️
✨ My dress today is a great beginner pattern from and the Ankara fabric is from my stash, I had exactly 2.5m left which is great for a mini dress. 🌸

So I made this dress thinking I would wear it Easter Sunday but wow, the weather said no 🤣 This dress was surprisingly easy to make and love the roulette ties for the inside and outside. I decided to add my puff sleeve block and added another tier ruffle so it’s a maxi. Can we discuss the fit and how well this dress fits me. Would you believe me if I said I made no adjustments and sewed the size uk 16 as is? I know, I love Maxi dresses😁. This is also my entry to the challenge hosted by and
