"The Cape Town Craft Club is heading to Joburg! After building an amazing community in the Mother City, we're heading up for two special pop-up events to meet, inspire, and be inspired by a whole new batch of crafters.

🧶We’re hosting two of our iconic Craft Nights at Artwave on 15 and 20 May, and would love to see you there! Bring your current WIP and spend the evening crafting, chatting and connecting with other cool people who love to make things too.

🪡Whether you’re busy knitting your tenth jersey or haven’t picked up a crayon since junior school, everyone is welcome at Craft Night. These evenings are as much about making as they are about connecting with others in a low-stakes environment, carving out time to be creative, and spending time away from screens and distractions."

We're back for another exciting year, and guess what? 2025 marks our 30th year of House of Embroidery! It is astonishing to think that we've been in this business for a whopping 30 years! Eternally grateful for all our customers, collaborators and distributors who have kept us going for this long!

An especially important shout out to the entire team who have been our Saving Grace in the last year. We are excited for the challenges and opportunities that our 30th year in the industry brings us!

Featured in this post are some of the beautiful 12 Days of Christmas limited edition thread/silk bundles that we created for Sue Spargo last year. It was an amazing challenge to come up with bespoke colours, and to delve back into what we do best, which is vibrant hand-dyed threads and silks.
