Each to their own but I seem to gravitate towards a stud topping the earring design. Some people prefer hooks, others prefer a simple ball stud.

I feel that the clay stud ties it all together and gives a more finished look.

I do try to offer variety but somehow I keep getting drawn back to these - even though they are farrrrr more work than a simple hook. Apart from the cutting, baking and now gluing, I follow this with a layer of resin to ensure these babies won’t fall off.

What do you prefer?

It was our first raffle and a bit of a learning curve. I limited the tickets to 40, not knowing if they would sell but needing to cover the cost of my outlay.

Well, the tickets sold alright, with all of them going in the first 60 seconds!! (It was a bit overwhelming to be honest).

So next week, we will do it a smidgen differently, giving more IzzyB VIPs a chance to get in on the action.
