WOAH… WE MADE PROSTHETIC SHOES. 👞✨

This was one of those projects that challenged us, stretched our skills and reminded us exactly why we love what we do.

Kiana is a professional orthotist who recently completed our Master Course in Shoe Design, specialising in designing footwear for patients with problem feet.

For her case study, we took things one step further…

We designed and made an actual prosthetic shoe.

Using a cast of the patient’s foot, we developed a shoe specifically around his current foot shape and prosthetic foot. We then styled the upper around the cast and built up the sole to support easier, more comfortable mobility.

This project brought together two very different worlds:

MEDICAL EXPERTISE × FASHION & SHOE DESIGN

And honestly… it was HARD. 😂

Getting the shape, balance, proportions, construction and functionality right was a serious challenge. But seeing the finished shoes come together exactly as we envisioned was incredibly rewarding.

This is what happens when technical knowledge meets creativity — footwear becomes more than just something you wear. It can become part of someone’s mobility, confidence and everyday life.

And now… we wait to hear from the patient himself.🤞🏻
