JEANS 👖 I get a lot of questions about where to buy nice jeans. These are my “go to” personal favorites but I am always on the hunt for good jeans that don’t cost more than R1000.
We all have different body shapes and feel comfortable in different shapes so it’s a case of trying on lots of jeans and finding the ones you love. The jeans featured in the pics are all from witchery, Woolies (RE) and Zara and are a mix of skinny/straight leg and mid/high waist.

Today is the first day of my “lent closet cleanse”.
Instead of giving up chocolate this year I am going to take one item a day that I don’t wear out of my closet until Easter.
Todays T-shirt is great but it’s too long for me so I’m going to try sell this item on Yaga. Some items will be given to charity and some I will sell.

This year is the year to invest in your wardrobe. You don’t need to buy loads of new clothing, it means putting together different outfits/options and making sure you have the right basics to build on.

I am on the hunt for a good pair of denim shorts. My battle is the length. So far the ones I have seen are either too short or too long. I will keep you posted but if you see a good pair of “mid thigh” shorts please share the find!

Can you say CAMI?? I am a huge fan of a tight fitting cami underneath most tops. People often say it makes them feel “fat” to wear too many layers, I disagree. If you get the right cami it can be very slimming and suck “things” in. Wear one under a linen T-shirt, a shirt or any top really. Tuck it in and make sure it’s tight. Zara do excellent cotton/Lycra ones in cream, white and black!

Happy 2022! So you all know how much I love a bargain but especially one that doesn’t look cheap!!
I have always been tempted to order off SHEIN but too nervous of what I will get and can’t return. Someone gave me great advice so I decided to try. I bought this dress and a few other things and I am so happy with all my purchases.
Tricks:
- read the customer reviews and look for pictures of real people in the clothing.
- don’t order anything with a rating of less than 4.8
- look for sizing comments and what size model is wearing to help decide what size to buy.
- download app, much easier then website
- be open minded. You may have to re-sell the item or alter to fit!
You will be charged duty on your order that you pay in advance.
It’s a gamble but for a cheap fashionable item, it’s worth the risk!
