Experiments in tie dye.. quick to learn, a lifetime to master 😅

Almost all fabric dying techniques are environmentally devistating, about 10-50% of the dyes used in the dyeing process are lost, and end up contaminating the environment with about one million tons of dye compounds in just a year..

Wastewater from textile plants is also the most polluting of all the industrial sectors, so sustainable methods and small batch dyes are the only way forward!

I'll be getting more wordy about my process and how I structure my design around sustainability and eco-friendlyness in my posts to come ✨🦊
