🪡 Join us for another round of our youth-focused, mending workshop on Saturday, 7 March at Bertha House from 10:00-14:00. We will also be hosting 2 other workshops like this - in April and in May.
Mending embodies a philosophy of creativity, resilience, and sustainability, enabling individuals to unleash their creativity, heal both objects and themselves, and contribute to a more sustainable future. In the spirit of accessibility, narrative justice and spacial justice, the workshop is primarily aimed at students from marginalised communities, and entry is free. Please let us know if you’d like to join by sending us a message.
Bring along a pre-loved garment or tote bag that you would like to mend, embellish or just put some needed attention into it. We’ll show you the basics of using a needle and thread to sew and mend the well loved items in your wardrobe. The workshop will be facilitated by and is supported by
