Last week a MASSIVE order came through the website for honey.

The biggest order yet!

Everything looked above board and a proof of payment was sent through from Standard Bank.

As its Easter weekend and and this order was expected by the middle of this week, I went ahead, stupidly maybe, and ordered the labels, jars, packaging and paid for all of this.

As of yet the money is yet to hit our account and upon closer inspection the POP appears to be fake. The person who placed the order passed himself off as a Doctor and has ignored the mail I sent following up.

Fortunately I've not parted with any product and the jars, labels and packaging will all get used in time.

More and more small business seem to be at the receiving end of more and more of these jokesters and scammers.

I must admit when I saw this order I thought immediately of the holes I could plug with the money, the biggest being my sons upcoming school tour to Bloemfontein.

Lesson learnt here...….
