The Barefoot Locale Legend challenge starts tomorrow!
Here is all the info you need.

Make sure to record your activity as a run and upload it onto Strava with your account open to the public so that Strava can track the amount of loops you have done.

Route:
Start at our front door, run towards Osborne Road. Turn right up Osborne Road and then run towards Hugon Road. Turn right at Hugon road and run towards Starlings Cafe . Turn right at Bishoplea Road and come all the way back to The Grounded Sole via Obelisk Walk. Now repeat as many times as you want.

Strongman meets barefoot training.

Today we put two shoes to the test with Jacques Boshoff — 3rd place at Strongman Africa 2024 and a good friend of the brand.

We worked through a solid leg session, with Jacques putting the Vivobarefoot Motus Flex through its paces while I trained in the Primus Lite 3.5.

Two very different shoes, but both built for movement — from heavy lifts to dynamic gym work, with the wide, flexible design helping your feet stay connected to the ground.

Legs are eina but spirits are high! Thanks for being a lekker guy and a great ambassador for the sport and our brand✌️

September is all about getting out there and moving our bodies!

For the whole month of September, we’re hosting a challenge to see who can complete the most 500m loops.

Run it. Walk it. Dance it. Skip it. Get creative! You can complete the loop any way you want, you just need to register it as a run on Strava.

To make it onto the Local Legend Leaderboard, your Strava account must be public so your loops can be counted.

The route? It will be announced at midnight 31st August!
