Ive been thinking about my business "THE SEWING HUB" with much consternation as another tailor opens in Meadowridge Park & Shop.
But then I stop & realise theres room for all of us as long as we do what we are good at.
The mall Tailors are good for quick things done immediately- & even these are brought Back to me to correct.

The Sewing Hub employs 5 staff members, each specializing in their own strengths. We do FAR MORE then zips & hems & therein lies my strength.
We've just added sleeves to a sleeveless dress & made the petticoat longer. One BIG advantage is that we only have ladies serving ladies - for those awkward moments when exposure of the body is needed!

We repair puffer jackets that you wont even find where the tear was. We've changed dresses from Temu & YDE, MADE them more sllimline. The requests for unusual alterations come in everyday!

We alter curtains, make floor cushions, & sell foam!

THE SEWING HUB at 198 Main Road, Diep River has a dedicated lady making cushion covers & curtain alterations.

We rejuvenate couch cushions offering new foam as seen in the pics and we make scatter cushions & inners as well.

We'll happily shorten OR lengthen your curtains! Even replacing old, torn lining if necessary.

Pop in, we dont work by appointment.

Matric dresses & wedding suits are this seasons huge activity for THE SEWING HUB. We alter suits to perfection & make dresses fit their owners!! While the weather is great this is what we are busy on!
The Sewing Hub is at 198 Main Road, Diep River. We dont work by appointment so you may pop in at any time that suits you 8am - 4.30pm and Saturdays 8 - 12.
