The youth of South Africa are activists waiting to happen, with nobody to listen. The aim of the project is to gather a small group of young South Africans, allow them to set goals for themselves and then help them achieve their goals, while giving them the means of expression necessary for their views to be heard. The group will have 10 sessions of design class, in which they will learn the basic
principles of design and develop a tshirt design around their main cause, message, or vision. Once the designs are finalised, tshirts will be printed and sold by the participants for a profit which will then go towards them achieving their previously stated goals. The vision is to create young South Africans who not only feel like they can express themselves, but who feel like they are being heard and like their messages are being spread, all while helping them achieve their goals.
