gorge&us Cashmere is one of the most precious and finest types of wool. Our cashmere comes directly from Nepal, the natural habitat of the cashmere goat.

The harsh conditions in Nepal ensure that the coat of the cashmere goat is particularly dense and provides us with a soft undercoat enabling us to produce our beautiful knitwear. The idea to use this fine and precious material as a basis for our fashion collection was established in 2013. For over a year we tested several manufacturers, different cashmere qualities, cuts and color options. Today w

e can proudly say that all our learning, knowledge and expertise has gone into our collection and we have every confidence in offering our products to you. Before each finished product leaves our factory in Nepal it is checked locally by our competent staff. Naturally we ensure that we use the purest of cashmere garn and that cashmere fibers are not treated with wool and lose quality. Our cashmere fibers have a maximum fiber thickness of 19 microns and thus maintain the high standards of the German textile industry. At our central warehouse in Germany our products undergo yet another quality control. We want to make sure that you get the best product! Of course we are regularly onsite in Nepal to ensure optimal working conditions. Being modern mothers ourselves of 6 children, we are pleased that mainly women and mothers work in our production, contributing significantly to allow their families a "better" life. What makes us at gorge&us actually so special? Katja Helmreich and Eileen von Schüssler the two founders of gorge&us know from their own lives as cosmopolitan mothers and successful businesswomen the high standards of modern woman of today. Creating gorge&us products which are versatile with the allure of modern style and using classic materials combined with fashionable and sporty styles - available in many bright trendy colors. Our Cashmere products are symbols of elegance, style, refined simplicity and are suitable for any occasion.
