Soooo what’s happening at Thandi Boutique? We are busy as bees creating more and more beautiful, affordable designs for you at reasonable prices and great quality. Why not treat yourself to one of our lovely flattering designs for the festive season or have your favorite outfit copied in one of our unique dutch cottons. I felt a bit uncomfortable with my current corona post lockdown belly so I made myself( or rather Veronica 😉) some lovely summer dresses which make me feel confident and gorgeous. We are closing for the holdidays on the 22nd of December and reopening on the 18th , so get your orders in now to have them ready before the break 😘remember that a woman never looks more beautiful then when she feels comfortable and gorgeous in her clothes 😉

Ok we survived corona!!!🙌🏼It was a tough few weeks , but here we are in the other side and trying to pick up where we left off. So it’s very delayed but just in time for the 1st of December; I would like to show you my handmade advents calendar made with dutch cotton. Every pocket has got a little tree decoration so every day the tree gets fuller until it’s Christmas time! Of course you can add your own little treat. I can also put your child’s name on the calendar to make it a personal gift to keep for years to come!! I only made 10 so let me know if you would like to order one. I will deliver for free in the muizenberg area. They are R500 and a lot of work to make so I think it’s a great lockdown friendly price. 😉Dm me or send me a message on 0733547965. THANK YOU!!! To everyone who has popped into Thandi this past weekend and supported us by either buying something or just visiting! You don’t know what it means to us to feel like we are still able to grow and follow our dreams! Thandi wants to open an NGO called Thandi Creatives in the next few years where we focus on skill training people for specific products so they are not only trained but also able to sell the product though our shop. We want to spread fair employment combined with beautiful products!!! For you who have not been yet our sale is ongoing as long as stocks last.
I would like to introduce our new baby receiving blanket range in super quality Dutch cotton. The blanket is extra long so it can last for years even as a towel for your toddler. Size 64x140. Wow first day sale was amazing!!!! It was a perfect steady flow of the right amount of people! Some old customers , some new faces, the youngest customer was a few months old and he got wrapped in one of our new baby blankets( see picture) and the oldest was a lovely lady who had overcome a difficult illness and just wanted to feel gorgeous! I am so blessed to be able to do what I love doing and to be surrounded by such an amazing team ( Veronica and Nomonde) and support system. My daughter Zoe was helping out and scored an outfit ( pic )and my husband is showing off his Thandi outfit while juggling for everyone(pic)🤣The amazing Rochelle’s kitchen took care of our bellies and thirst and she did it with a big smile (pic). Hey community our big clearance sale is starting this Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. Brand new local made clothes of Dutch cottons from as low as R50 rand!!!!! We are transforming our shop into a boutique and gift shop so we are literally clearing hundreds of items below cost price!!! Also we are introducing some of our new gift range like mirrors, Jewellery, kids toys, etc. Some other traders like noleen read pottery and furniture pieces by Tilly & Boo will also have stunning pieces on sale. Food by Rochelle’s kitchen and Cindy Beetge. We will be open this weekend the 25/26th from 10-5 and the sale will carry on as long as stock lasts. Safety protocols will be in place please wear your masks when you come through 👍🏼😷

Since we can’t have an event like I initially wanted to , I would like to everyone know that we will have a non-event at 69 main road muizenberg on the weekend of 11-12 July. No big deal just the most amazing products for sale at affordable prices 😜 all three shops will be open for the entire weekend from 10-5 and we will stick to strict safety guidelines with our thermometer in one hand and sanitizer in the other. There will be plenty of space for social distancing since we have a huge courtyard in case you all come at once 😆Clothing can’t be fitted but we came up with a very original way to shop for clothes without touching them which I will let you know about closer to the time. The pictures will give you an impression of what is on offer but we have so much more. Come support local traders! Please wear masks when you come through and if the parking is full in front of the shop you can park across the road between bp and primary school and checkers centre is also only a short walk.

We at Thandi boutique are so enormously grateful for your support in buying our funky fog free facemasks! You made it possible to keep our two seamstresses employed at a moment where I literally did not know what to do anymore! I was considering selling the couch ( don’t tell my kids 😉) and then this miracle mask thing happened! We went from panic and despair to elation and gratitude! Now we want to spread our love and we know of some other seamstresses who are sole breadwinners and could do with some work so if you are able to share our number with others and tell them about the masks we would be even gratefuller (is that even a word ?🤨) Our amazing deal of 5 masks for R200 rand will still be on for a little bit so make use of this amazing offer! We have received great feedback not just from people with glasses but also customers who just love the extra space we provided in this mask and the comfortable fit. It’s nice to wear something different so come and choose from our huge Dutch printed cotton fabric selection. We sell our masks now from the ‘feel good stuff’ shop in Noordhoek mall and global textiles in Fish Hoek and Tokai. They sell them for R65 but it’s still worth it especially if you don’t have to drive to muizenberg 😉

Thank you for all of your positive response and support for our glasses friendly masks!! It really has changed things for us here at Thandi because now we can keep paying our seamstresses wages and feel inspired to carry on!! 🙏I have sold over 70 up to date and have received so far such positive feedback. So if you have not got yours yet DM me and you can chose your fabric and I will deliver free of charge within a few days. ( in the muizenberg area) the masks are triple layered, 100% Dutch cotton and are available in kids and adults size. Have a great day and thanks again 🙏

I promised you some regular posts so here is the next one. Trench coats are available in different colors and sizes and are going for R1500: 100% cotton with funky lining. All the way framed with piping , closed with buttons and wide belt which is super flattering.
I have different boots ; only one offs so if you like a pair go for it now! I won’t bring in new stock anymore from Spain and Portugal and new they sell for about R3000 so at R1000 absolute bargain. If you want to see my selection in a certain size just DM me!
