We recently did a small exhibition with BIG ideas behind it at Ge**er & Co in Paarl ~ and we got to walk their incredible premises where felt is literally made from the wool of farmers in the Karoo.

South African wool.
South African land.
South African hands.
South African design.
All in one place.

We have been working on making a 100% locally felted hat for YEARS… and we are still working on it! We will keep going until we crack the felting process in South Africa. We believe in this and will keep pushing to get the density right. 🇿🇦

Every “ghost shell” hat you see here is part of our years of trial, error, play and experimentation.

It’s not “finished” yet ~ but it’s becoming something.
And it feels important to show the in-between

Because this is the future:
not just African-inspired,
but African-made 🤍
