To choose pure linen is to choose timelessness over transience.
Real linen does not feel silky, slick or artificially soft.
Pure linen feels dry to the touch, almost brushed by air.
It has texture, structure and a quiet rawness that speaks of the flax plant it comes from. It breathes instead of clinging. It cools instead of coating the skin.
If a fabric marketed as linen feels wet, slippery, overly fluid, or synthetic against the hand, it is often stretched with polyester, viscose, acrylic or other blends designed to imitate softness while losing the integrity of true linen.
Pure linen is not meant to feel manufactured.
It is meant to feel alive.
