NW Fashion Week is an apparel trade show held annually in Mahikeng, North West Province spring event held in December of each year. NW Fashion Week, established in 2012 is part of the Big 4 fashion weeks nationally, the others being SA Fashion Week, Cape Town Fashion Week and African Fashion International. NW Fashion Week is owned by NWFWSA (North West Fashion Week South Africa), a profit associat
ion which disciplines, co-ordinates and promotes the development of North West Province Fashion and is responsible for hosting the fashion events and shows of Mahikeng. Proprietors of the most important haute couture establishments in Mahikeng, including some private establishments, which, in these days, play a crucial role in the promotion of this sector, were present at the Memorandum of Association:Sister Bucs, Gert Johan Coetzee, David Tlale, Thula Sindi, Palesa Mukobung Soul Sista. The events dedicated to women's fashion are the most important (Womenswear / NW SS Women Ready to Wear, and NW Cultural Wear being the major fashion shows).
