One of those days!
Used the beautiful new Shweshwe colorway and my little model decided today is not the day!
I am the model and I have a model.
I have the cutest Shweshwe pants for her you have ever seen 😍 I have frilly pocket flaps on the back because I couldn't decide which was cuter.
What I do not have - is my model's cooperation. She had places to be apparently.
That's the Minilu Kids experience. Handmade chaos, but mostly adorable results.
Barrel-shaped pants for women and Akiko pants for girls.

This is what happens when you're sewing by hand with no one to answer to.
I was making the pocket flaps and I kept turning the pants around thinking — front? Back? Front?
Both. Obviously both.
Because when you're the designer and the seamstress and the quality control department, you get to do whatever makes you smile.
And frilly pocket flaps on a tiny pair of pants? That makes me smile every single time. 🌿That's the Minilú Kids experience. Handmade chaos. Adorable results.

Sometimes, if I'm lucky, my favourite little model agrees to try on a dress so I can check the fit 😍 All our patterns are pre-tested by the designers who kindly let us use them to make our garments — so you know the fit is always on point!
This one was looking perfect… until little Mouse decided she absolutely HAD to be part of the shoot 🐭😂 Honestly though, can you blame her? Those big pockets weren't going to fill themselves!
Big pockets + beautiful Shweshwe print = a dress she'll actually want to wear every single day 🙌🏽
