Finished 🎊. The majestic Giant Eagle Owl. The finished design is so beautiful. Not one for the faint hearted or those who like the back to look as good as the front 😊. But well worth effort.

Wendy, the designer of these amazing kits, is having a well earned retirement with her beloved Nigel. However, the kits are still lovingly packed by hand and hopefully will be for many years to come. Watching the jewelled colours of the Knysna Lourie come together is an absolute blessing and I feel privileged to have been trusted by Wendy to carry on her legacy. Happy stitching. Liz

These, and many more like them, are the reason I only use kits. For years I used patterns and threads, but every new pattern needed a majority of new colours. I am no longer increasing my stash of almost full skeins and my children will not need to find a home for them when I am gone. Liz 💖
