I'm sad. My Special little Dixie joined the angels yesterday. She shadowed my every move. I feel lost without her. She is the best friend I've ever had xx She was almost 16 and never had to go to the vet. What a girl !

We went on a little road trip this week to refresh Mrs P for Stoep Tasting. It was fun to get out and about. So wonderful to see so many people in our little village this weekend having fun and drinking awesome wine. Put it on your bucket list !

It's been a week of weather ! We had lots and lots of rain and then some snow. A few flakes in our little village but a lovely dusting on the mountains. The trees are now completely golden and we are as warm as toast in front of our fire that hasn't rested for days. Happy Mother's day to all the Mom's out there. Have an awesome weekend.

Meet Cello one of my most favourite visitors. He belongs to my friend Stephanus and I love it when they visit. There are about a 100 cyclists in town for the Owl Route biking experience. They're in for a treat - the skies are blue and the weather is behaving. Lovely to greet them as they passed Mrs P on their ride through the village today .
