The African wild dog is one of Africa’s most unique predators — highly social, intelligent, and sadly under threat.

So, we’ve created something special to help give these incredible animals a little more attention. 👀

World Wild Dog Day!

African wild dogs are one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores, and their biggest threats come largely from human activity.

🌍 Habitat loss & fragmentation
🪤 Snares & accidental trapping
🚗 Road deaths
🐕 Disease from domestic dogs
⚠️ Human-wildlife conflict

These incredible animals need huge territories and live in tightly bonded packs — making the loss of even a few individuals incredibly important.

So, this World Wild Dog Day, we’re celebrating them in true Hoedies style. 🐾
