The story of Dead Mans ...

Deadmans Quality Bench Rest Rifle Products and Accessories was founded by my wife who spoke to members of a local shooting range.

They wanted a South African bench rest manufacturer for rear rifle rest disciplines that can be used for the bench shooting fraternity.

My wife knocked out a genuine leather bench rest in two weeks, and the rest is history.

Speaking of History, we decided in a 10 minute marketing and branding meeting that the best name to accompany our product would be

“DeadMans”, deadman’s is a famous sitting position in Airrifle Field Target (FT) discipline. This position called “Deadman”

was invented by a South African sharp shooter named, Piet Breedt from Eloff in Mpumalanga.

Mr Piet Breedt has represented South Africa in his Green and Gold Springbok Colours for Air Rifle Shooting.
