More than 40 years of teaching in fashion design. Fashion Varsity is not a new School, it is just a new beginning for Victoria Toma, who already established and lectured at the Victoria Toma Institute of Fashion Designing in Bloemfontein. There, she taught many National and International award winning students. We believe that many world-renowned fashion schools teach many different subjects. But

never really prepare their students for the future difficulties of the fashion world. The do not instil fashion confidence and the do not prepare their students for the sacrifice they have to make in order to be successful in the fashion world. Students still sometimes struggle to find a job – this, after 3 years of studying. Fashion Varsity is offering students short courses where they can learn all the skills needed to be a confident and successful Fashion Designer. Students will develop a passion for fashion. We will prepare all our students to face the real working world, without spending too much time or money. Our dream is to give all our students an opportunity to make their dreams a reality. This is why we say NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

A new beginning in the new year.

Victoria Toma studied fashion design in Paris, France and Rome, Italy. Her teaching experience is over 40 years. She taught in South Africa, North Africa, Lesotho and the US. Her knowledge and professionalism are ahead of the rest.

Her pattern designing method with her patented ruler is revolutionary, fast and easy. You will design patterns for any woman's body shape.

Her method of garment construction which she has been perfecting over 40 years is of high standard. You will wear your garments with pride.

Courses that are on offer:

A three-month or longer pattern designing and garment construction course for women;

A three-month or longer pattern designing course for men (French method) and tailoring (making a man's jacket);

A one-day pattern designing workshop of any garment of your choice.
