Back to some “things” that went out today. (The cute ones are really hard to part with! 😁) We’re building up the inventory on our online store and plan to have ready-to-ship masks stocked for the big & little kids return to school & work by the end of the weekend 🌸

More “Things” 😷 I’ve been obsessed with Floral Wars by ever since I first came across the print. Such a lovey lush cotton lycra with really great print quality. They’re currently doing another fabric pre order, so if this is your thing, it ends on May 16th.

Some Available Prints ~ selling masks allows me to donate to less fortunate areas (currently working with My Hope Day Care Centre in Vosloorus).

There are two price points, the higher one funds the donation of one mask:

Adult (suitable for most) - R70 / R50
- Teenager/Petite - R60 / R45
- Young Kid (7-12 years) - R55 / R40
- Small Kid (3-6 years) - R50 / R40

They are two layer 100% cotton and come with a spunbond filter (that should last several months) for inserting into the pocket.

A Things & Fluff Cloth Mask Guide

Prepared in line with Goverment guidelines issued by DTI 🌸

We are working on reducing our pricing by reviewing some local material options to bring this into a more affordable price bracket for the general public. (Without compromising on quality).

We’ll have some news on this next week after our options have been assessed and tested.

Another word of thanks!

Thanks to your support last week we were able to donate over 20 masks to a shelter recently set up on 1st Avenue in Parktown North.

Mask Donations for this upcoming week are going to Ikamva Labantu who do a lot of social development work in Cape Town township communities.

There has been an overwhelming number of requests over the last few days, that coupled with a monetary donation received means this will be the largest mask donation we’ve made to date. (We’re at 60 already & the week has barely started) ❤️

If demand keeps increasing, its likely that I’m going to need to start outsourcing production of donation masks, so if you have any recommendations, I’m totally open!

I’m so grateful for the support of this initiative, and can’t thank you enough! 🙏🏽

😷 Reusable Cotton Face Masks 😷

These are two layers of cotton fabric with a pocket for additional filter layer inserts.

These masks are not meant to avoid infection,but can be used as a soft barrier to airborne germs and help to discourage the constant touching of your face.

Available in various sizes:

- Adult (suitable for most) - R70
- Teenager/Petite - R60
- Young Kid (7-12 years) - R55
- Small Kid (3-6 years) - R50

Prices exclude cost of courier.

There are limited prints available, so payment secures order.

Each mask is accompanied by a 60cm elastic cord threaded for you to establish if you would prefer an across head/or behind ear fit. It can be cut and tied accordingly.

You’ll notice that the masks for “Small Kids” (Age 3-6) have a different elastic to the others, this is because our resident small kid feels that it is more comfortable that the threaded elastic available with the bigger sizes. 💛 (we do add the elastic separately in the event that your small kid feels differently 🌸)

Just a quick word of thanks for your support 🙏🏽

It doesn’t look like much, but this is a pile of masks that I’ve just finished that will be donated to Hotel Hope.
