Wise words for us all.

Social media is the best. And the worst. Right? We don’t want to see other people’s dirty laundry, yet sometimes all the amazing photos others post get us feeling down about where we are at, and who we are. Myself included. Where is the happy medium? Why am I comparing myself to the best others have to show, when the only one I should be comparing myself to, is ME!
So how do we stop comparing ourselves to others?
Awareness:
Focus on catching yourself comparing yourself to others each day. You will be amazed at how often it happens!
Perspective: it’s never ok to compare the beginning of your journey to ANY point in someone else’s. It’s just not fair.
Gratitude: make a list of reasons why where you are in life is absolutely great!
Encouragement: Be encouraged by other people’s success. Allow them to be your mentors, be inspired by their work.
Daydream: imagine your future and explore it without confinements.
