Meet the “Black Immigrant”.

Her journey is birthed by the craftsmanship of David Tlale and art of Mandla “Mandla_artist” Mavengere. His artwork bring in the issues of migration and labour relations in our society.

As she continues to re-write her ancestors’ story of solace, she is greatly influenced by music, themes of Latin and Soul, African traditions and is set to become the real-life embodiment of her ancestors wildest dream.

Meet the “Black Immigrant”.

Her narrative of being caught between a grey area, black and white lines made up of attributes of , , , past & present systems of segregation.

The grey area has been turned into an inspiration for us to re-write our ancestors' woeful & become their wildest dreams.

The South African culture was brilliantly represented throughout the Collection with the print and art from Mandla “ ” Mavengere and it’s infusion with the work of David Tlale.
