Wardrobe Studies : The Winter Closet .

Nothing makes sense to me right now like dopamine dressing.
From my past style analysis, I saw a lot of my outfits had some form of pinstripe in it and the graphics from the T-shirts, but now I would really like to incorporate gingham and checkered prints as well . I would love to play around with interesting silhouettes and textures from faux fur, to customised denim pants as well ask crocheted/knitted chunky cardigans.
While this is for winter I think these pieces might carry well into the spring and some even into the summer. We’ll see.

Wardrobe Studies : The Analysis .

From archiving my past wardrobe, I’ve found that I used to wear a lot of formal pants styled with funky sneakers and graphic T-shirts .

While these are elements I severely lack in my current wardrobe, I do want to incorporate those basics back into my everyday wear as they provided a simple but elevated streetwear look with the right accessories.

I also want to play around with layering as my style is leaning more and more towards modesty lately.

Now that I sort of have an idea of what elements to bring back from my past self, to mix with what current Andy likes, building my wardrobe should come as a fun process, guided by a clear end goal - I want to look like a grunge streetwear fairy .

Spend the week with us sourcing and styling a photoshoot. I had a helper on set so I didn’t have Denim with me the whole time, but this is by far the cutest stylist assistant I’ve had to date.

Slowly getting back to doing the things that make me feel like me again and this time around I have someone to do them with.
My body has surprised me in so many ways and I am relearning so much about myself - like I can fully function on 4 hours of sleep .

Anyways enjoy the bloopers of Denim and I trying to create content.

Week 2 : Denim The Bunny & The Lost Easter Eggs Hunt .

Having travelled 1635 kilometres from Cape Town to Durban , Denim still hasn’t found his big blue bag of Easter Eggs!

He’s search high and low, far and wide and even under green shrubs of grass!

And still no Easter Eggs in sight.

I have a lot of skills to develop with regarding shading, proportions etc. but what better way than to make a children’s book for someone close to my heart?

Denim The Bunny and The Lost Easter Eggs Hunt
This is my take on Week 1 of the challenge by

I decided to approach this a little differently, instead of just posting each entry to live digitally , I’m also looking to either turn the whole thing into a children’s book to gift to the most sweetest boy I know. I might just end up sewing a felt book for him, who knows .

Anyways, here is part 1 ! Let me know what you think.
