Talitah studied fashion design and graduated in 1985.

She designed an elegant hand pleated golden lurex gown, and this won her the designer award. She was recognised as talented and this enabled her as a young but yet a destinguished fashion designer, to create evening gowns for various boutiques. At 24 Talitah and her team expanded her fashion career and worked with a fashion agent in Cape Town. Under various labels, Talitah received orders from her

evening collection and supplied boutiques around Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Namibia. In the year 2000, the label "Talitah Couture" was born and worked together with wedding venues such as Oakfield Farm and Avianto, etc. Talitah Couture exhibited at Expo's and her dresses were featured in numerous online media publications and traditional wedding magazines. "I have always loved working and experimenting with fabrics and styles. It is my pleasure to work with brides-to-be and share my creations with the world in the purpose that it will inspire and excite creativity in others. Combining my hand drawn illustrations with my design techniques makes me feel a special purpose and spark that my designs will carry to its destinations. I love designing and seeing my creations come to life. In this I find a freedom of expression and can create in my time and leisure. I design from the heart and create with an open mind set and with good energy." Talitah Couture most recently created and dressed brides on the TV show called "Droom Troue" and "Mrs Universesa". All Talitah Couture gowns are hand made here in SA and custom designs are welcome.

I was able to sneak a pic of our bride.
Here ✨ Fransheila ✨ looked absolutely breathtaking on her wedding day! Her beautiful wedding was held at Avianto Wedding Venue. Fransheila opted for a pure white gown delicately hand sewn bodice, lace appliqued, crystals and beads, rounded off with a full tulle skirt. The look was perfect!
