Good Day to all our followers,
Todays post will be a more positive outlook to Covid-19 in South Africa!
1- Many business were shutdown, but this also brought a change to many peoples lives, it brought upon fresh ideas on how to create an income where as people did not need to meet and greet on a personal level, businesses could function from the comfort of their own homes. A work week of 9 hours a day which is the equivalent to 45 hours a week, not including traveling time to and from work, changing to 5 hours a day of constant work, but then not having the stress of traffic, and paying for fuel, minusing costs and increasing effiency to businesses.
2- Families not having time for each other became families being together for a much longer period of time. Some families have got 2 working adults whom had no time to spend together with their children due to large workloads and difficult jobs.This inturn made families closer and gave families time to understand each other and build closer relationships amongst each other. Such as mom having more time to educate her kids at home and dad doing more activities with his kids or visa versa.
3- Hygiene was not at its finest point in South Africa before Covid-19, but now people find themselves having to sanitize their hands before entering and often exiting shops, restaurants and in public places, creating a cleaner society in South Africa, as well as if someone isn't feeling entirely great, but now keeping their distance and covering their face with use of a mask.
4- Responsible spending, many people spent a lot more than they earnt before Covid-19, but then lockdown came and people realized they were spending too much money and now did not have the neccessary savings to get them through the lockdown easily. Resulting in more people watching their spend and having enough savings to push them through 3 months instead of 1 month.
5- Respect to the enviroment was not always the case in South Africa, certain areas of our country were full of tourists and people travelling constantly bringing pollution to our parks, oceans and vegetation, giving our animals a break during lockdown and reducing the amount of trash and pollution within our environment has resulted in a cleaner South Africa with happier thriving wildlife.
