🧵⚙️ TECHNICIAN'S LECTURE: INDUSTRIAL COVERSEAM MACHINE

A coverseam machine is a precision stitch-forming system. To service it correctly, you must understand the relationship between the needles, looper, feed dogs, differential feed and thread path.

🔧 Key technical checks:
• Correct needle system and needle height
• Needle-to-looper timing
• Looper clearance and movement
• Correct threading and thread tension
• Feed-dog height and timing
• Differential-feed adjustment
• Presser-foot pressure

⚠️ Common faults:
❌ Skipped stitches
❌ Thread breakage
❌ Wavy or stretched hems
❌ Uneven stitch formation
❌ Needle-to-looper collision

👨‍🔧 Technician's rule:
Don't start turning tension k***s when the stitch is wrong. Check the stitch formation and mechanical timing first.

A good technician doesn't just make the machine sew — they understand why it sews.

Motor Modification & Machine Service

Electronic motor control failed to respond, so the system was modified from electronic control to manual operation without disturbing other electronic controls . The machine was then repaired, fully serviced, and the needle/looper timing corrected.

After testing and adjustments, the machine is now running smoothly and sewing correctly.
