Today is Mother's Day. As I woke up this morning, my not-so-well four year old called for me and through a haze of exhaustion, I pulled myself out of bed.

As I cuddled with her, I was struck by the thought that today we celebrate moms everywhere and it's not a glamorous job. It's often a thankless, tiring labour of love with long sleepless nights and days dotted with moments of questioning our decisions and battling the ever present worry that we're messing up horribly or not being / doing enough.

The thing is, while we may feel alone in these moments, our struggles are universal. As more and more moms live authentically and share their stories, we find an entire community of women who help us see that motherhood looks different in every household and family.

Motherhood isn't a pursuit of perfection but rather one of presence and grace. Grace for ourselves and others and patience as we all figure it out.

Even on your worst days, I pray that drive and push to be a better mom as you navigate through life serves as a reminder that while you don't have it all figured out, you're already being the best mom you can be ❤
