Women, who have to stay at home to tend tp their children. are the ones most likely to suffer from Gender Based Violence. They think that their lives are over and become so depressed. They need a hobby to restore their confidence. I speak from experience. When I was young, I was not allowed to work. I loved stylish clothes, so I did a course on Dressmaking and designing. Yes, I was both mentally and physically abused, so I personally know the trials and tribulations suffered. I became a single mum and worked very hard to educate my children. When I retired, thanks to my now grown-up children, I opened Stitch it Sewing Centre to empower SIngle women and help them to become whole again, to become independent, strong ENTEPRENEURS. I have trained hundreds of women and even men, from around Joburg.
