We’ve been thinking about how we want our YoKimono studio to feel and really, we just want more women in it.
Trying things on. Having a laugh. Bringing their friends. Finding clothes that feel bloody good on their bodies. Celebrating things. Connecting.

So we’ve created a few different ways to come spend some time with us.

Just want to come try us on? Book a complimentary fitting, come on your own or bring a friend and we’ll help you find your fit.

SIP & STYLE 🥂
Gather your women and we’ll pour the bubbles. Private studio time, snacks, styling and shopping. R850 for up to 4 women, or gather 5+ and your session is on us.

MARK THE MOMENT
Birthdays. Bridal mornings. Baby showers. Fresh starts. An “I survived this damn year” celebration. Whatever it is, take over the studio and let’s make a thing of it.

On this beautiful rainy, stormy day, we’ve been tucked away getting more and more excited about our winter releases. Production team activated!!

First access will be at the GWEN event on 20 June , followed by our online release on 21 June, with pieces arriving and shortly thereafter.

Tapping into that Blue Moon 🌑

The reason I started YoKimono was to build my confidence back up after having two boys in two years. I wanted to feel comfortable, beautiful, considered.

What I didn’t expect was how that confidence would ripple into every area of my life.

The way I talk to myself.
The way I nourish myself.
The way I create.
It starts within and others will quickly catch on 🖤

Where have we been hiding? 🙈

Building. Rebuilding. Raising boys. Moving studios. Redesigning patterns. Waiting on fabrics from Barcelona. Learning. Stretching. Growing.

As a videographer and photographer by trade, I’ve realised I’ve become a little paralysed by perfectionism. Waiting for the perfect light, the perfect timing, the reshoot, the better version before sharing anything at all.

So this is me trying something different.

A slower piece of content.
A little brain food instead of fast food.
A little behind the scenes.
A little more honesty.

It might not be perfect.
But it’s real.
