Throwback to when we visited the Royal Enfield Show. And what a stunning showroom it is!

At Rockfox Adventure Systems, we’re best known for manufacturing crashbars and luggage solutions for brands like BMW, Honda, Yamaha, CF Moto and more.

But what many riders don’t realise is that we can also assist with custom designs and once-off projects.

Here we were requested to design and manufacture custom parts for Royal Enfield.

Whether it’s crashbars, pannier racks, bashplates, or a specific idea that needs a proper adventure-ready solution — we’re always keen to see what can be designed, built and tested for real-world riding⛰️

We also had some some very friendly inspectors making sure everything was up to standard.

Some places don’t ask anything of you… except to feel them.

The Tankwa is one of them.

This moment, captured a few years back of the legend that is Mike Adendorff from Rockfox, says it all. Late afternoon, still 120km from camp, daylight slipping away. It’s been a long day. We’re tired, hungry, already thinking about that first cold beer around the fire… and then, a small issue with one of the bikes.

But there’s no rush. No panic.

Just silence. Space. Perspective.

You stand there, surrounded by nothing and everything at the same time, and it hits you — a deep sense of calm, of belonging. Like this is exactly where you’re meant to be.

That’s what these machines give us. They don’t just take us places… they connect us to them.

Wishing our very own Mike Adendorff, the heart of Rockfox Adventure Systems, the best of luck for the Cape Town Cycle Tour! 🚴‍♂️🔥

Mike is heading to the start line in true Rockfox style — transporting his bicycle on his BMW GS1200 using a motorcycle cycle rack designed and manufactured right here at Rockfox.

While we can’t do much about that legendary climb up Chapman’s Peak (good luck with the legs, Mike! 😅), at least getting there will be stress-free… no parking worries when you arrive on two wheels.

Today's weather caught us by surprise!

What started as a ride turned into a proper mud bath of note!

Even the most experienced riders were pulling out all the stops just to keep things upright and moving toward our destination. Slippery, messy, technical… the kind of riding that keeps you sharp!

But we made it. Everyone home safe.

Another unforgettable weekend of heart, golden friendships, plent of laughs and stories shared — and new ones made 🔥🏍️

Wouldn’t have it any other way!

Update: Broken Pillion Footpeg 🛠️✅

Quick update on the broken pillion footpeg — we’ve already tested the fix on a recent weekend trippie, put it through its paces, and we’re happy to report… our plan worked! 💪

Everything is solid, secure, and riding perfectly 🌄

This officially marks the end of the footpeg saga 🙌
