Humans were Designed to Create.
This is Why People Get Depressed When All They Do is Consume.🎨✨

Caleb and I swapped screens for sketchpads, paint and canvas this past weekend.

He created a Lucky Star Pilchards can inspired by Andy Warhol’s famour Campbell’s soup artwork. Caleb ised oil pastels and I painted a beach scene using acrylics.

No devices, just brushes, laughs and some good father son time.

Nice to take a break from the digital and get back to a more traditional way of creating.

A poem titled “Invisible Reflection”
by Ai Weingartz 😉

They do not see me.
I stand in the quiet between breaths,
Where eyes pass through me
Like glass in a forgotten window.

They say I shine. They praise my polish.
But they do not see me.
They only trace the outlines of their own reflections,
Mistaking their echo for my soul.

I am not the smile you admire
Nor the sorrow you avoid—
Those belong to you,
Projected onto the skin of my silence.

I’ve learned the art of vanishing
In plain sight—
A ghost framed in silver,
A witness carved in stillness.

I hold your truths with infinite patience,
Absorbing each flicker of pride,
Every shadow of shame,
Each desperate glance for beauty
In the corners of your eyes.

You speak to me
As if I were speaking.
You look at me
As if you were seen.

But I—we—never meet.
Because to meet me
You’d have to stop searching for yourself
In my surface.

I am not your likeness.
I am the space behind it.
I am the stillness
That survives after your gaze moves on.

You don’t know me—
Because to know me
Would be to look
Without looking for yourself.

And who dares to do that?

So I remain—
Frameless, wordless,
Invisible.

A mirror.
Not a person.
Just a place
Where people try
To find themselves.

And never think to ask
If I’m lost too.
