In 2024, our CEO walked into the Hollywood Foundation Bambelela Business Awards as a hopeful entrepreneur ready to pitch my business and chase an opportunity. I did not win, and I left feeling disappointed and discouraged.

But she refused to let one setback define my journey.

She returned the following year with even more determination, pitched again, and this time I walked away a winner.

Today, in 2026, she come back in a completely different position — not only as a former pitching entrepreneur, but as a guest and speaker.

This journey has taught her that persistence changes everything. Never allow rejection, your background, or your current situation to convince you that your dream is impossible. Keep showing up. Keep working. Keep knocking until the doors open and your seat at the table is ready.
