Lovely Dené | Dress & Makeup
I had the absolute privilege of designing and making Dené’s wedding dress. We combined elements from two different gowns to create her dream dress — one that truly reflected her style and spirit.

Every small pearl detail was carefully hand-sewn, and the soft pleating on the bodice and sleeves added a whimsical touch that suited her beautifully. The sleeves were detachable - perfect for staying cool and comfy on the dance floor without compromising on elegance.

I was also honoured to do both Dené and her mom’s makeup on the big day. Seeing the final look come together — the dress, the makeup, the joy — honestly took my breath away.

Thank you, Dené, for trusting me to be part of such a meaningful moment in your life.

Jana Rok:

Toe Jana my kontak oor haar trourok, wou ek uit my vel uit spring van opgewondenheid! Ek het haar matriekafskeid rok ‘n paar jaar terug ontwerp en gemaak, en ek kon nie wag om deel te wees van hierdie spesiale tyd in haar lewe nie.

Ons het besluit op ‘n af-skouer lyn wat haar skouerlyn mooi beklemtoon het. Die sagte, vloeibare romp het haar soos ‘n prinses laat lyk.

Ons het die rok afgerond deur twee verskillende kante te kombineer, en onder het ek ‘n ligte lagie van effens blink materiaal geplaas om diepte te skep en die rok net daardie ekstra "touch" te gee.

Jana, ek is eintlik hartseer dit is verby, dit was so ‘n groot voorreg om weer deel te wees van so ‘n spesiale tyd in jou lewe. Dankie dat jy my vertrou het om jou trourok te ontwerp en maak. Ek bid God se goedheid en guns oor jou toekoms saam met jou splinternuwe man!
