Genesis 2:2-3 God ended his work He had done and rested on the seventh day and blessed and sanctified the seventh day because in it He rested from all his work. In Luke 4:16 when Christ came here on earth it was His custom to be found in the synagogue on the Sabbath day. As we have entered the Sabbath of the Lord, it is my prayer that it will be our custom to be found in the presence of the Lord in the synagogue because this day was blessed and sanctified by God himself. It is not enough to be in the presence of the Lord but we must also call it a delight Isaiah 58:13-14.
