Does your child's school has a standard school uniform or specialized items?
As a parent, I have an expectation that paying more for a school uniform, these clothing items should be durable, of a good quality and that children should at least get a 2 year wear out of it by making it adjustable.
Many schools have very specific uniforms. Full school( Summer and winter) uniform will cost between R700 to R3000 In this is the case, a school blazer alone can cost almost R600 - R800, bringing the total uniform cost (one set) up to about R1500.
Indeed, uniform prices are killing us as parents. What is even worse is that the fees in private schools are so high. You have to buy the uniform from the school,
