STATEMENT | HAPPY 35TH ANNIVERSARY SASCO ✊🏾💛💚🖤

The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) joins the student movement in celebrating 35 years of the South African Students’ Congress (SASCO) — 35 years of unwavering commitment to the struggles, aspirations and development of students.

For more than three decades, SASCO has remained at the forefront of the fight for free, quality and accessible education, while continuing to educate, organise, agitate and transform institutions of higher learning.

At Capricorn TVET College – Seshego Campus, we salute generations of student activists who have carried the banner of SASCO with discipline, courage and dedication. The struggle for better learning conditions, student development, empowerment and meaningful opportunities must continue.

As we celebrate this important milestone, we reaffirm that students must always come before anything, because today’s student is tomorrow’s leader.

We encourage all qualifying students to prepare the necessary supporting documents and apply as early as possible to avoid last-minute challenges.
