These intricate throws have been inspired by the traditional craft of Zulu basket weaving.

The geometric designs also carry deep symbolism; for instance, if the triangle’s tip is pointing up it means that the woman is unmarried. Married women place two triangles together in a form of a diamond, representing fertility. Every basket is a unique piece of art.
