It’s not an every day opportunity to get to custom design and create a gown for a Miss Universe, let alone the gorgeous of the Philippines, for whom we’ve had the honour of doing so more than once 🤩 She requested a green gown with an unusual/interesting neckline. We sourced the fabrics and could not resist using the green leopard print silky satin as the base of the beaded mesh as the gown. The leaf detail was fully beaded and embellished by hand 🐆🌿

A momentary reflection on this remarkable woman in this custom Xhosa inspired Biji gown which was undeniably a whole moment in history on the Miss Universe stage. Probably one of the most inspiring and authentic pageant queens to date. Zozi’s gowns were recently on exhibit in the Diamond walk, Sandton City for just over a month

As we count down the last few hours leading up to the 69th Miss Universe pageant, our hearts are filled with hope and pride as Natasha raises the South African flag high on this prestigious platform. She has blossomed in the last few months and showed great passion, beauty, purpose and versatility in many different circumstances.
Natasha, we will be glued to our TV’s at 2am to cheer you on from a distance. We know you can do this💪💪 Bring home that crown!!! ❤️❤️❤️
